He had a significant impact on volleyball both domestically and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theringer.com\/\">internationally<\/a>. Notably, Shieh served as the head coach for the Venezuelan national women&#8217;s volleyball team between 1977 and 1979, bringing his expertise to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theringer.com\/\">global stage<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shieh was highly respected for his technical knowledge and strategic coaching style. He contributed greatly to volleyball development in Taiwan, and his legacy includes fostering local talent and elevating Taiwan\u2019s standing in the international volleyball community. After his international coaching stint, Shieh continued to be involved in the sport in Taiwan, mentoring athletes and developing volleyball programs.
